DAY TOURS

We start at the farm and head south towards the ocean. Along the way, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Westmanna Islands and the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. Continuing east we will visit an old ruin where we will take a quick break to capture the beautiful landscape, horses and ourselves in photos before heading back to our farm.

This very pleasant 2-hour ride takes you north towards the mountains. We cross beautiful fields and ride alongside the river Irá before reaching the stunning Ìrafoss waterfall. Here we will make a stop to capture unforgettable photos. On the way back we will ride past the mountains and pass by cow and sheep farms.

We can also enjoy a canter in the soft black sand before making our way back to the farm.

Occasionally it is not possible to cross the small lake in front of the beach. We then offer equivalent alternatives.

The ride up is full of small waterfalls, peaceful streams and grazing sheep. The path may be narrow and steep at times but the reward awaits at the top with the breathtaking view.

On our way back, we pass by the Ìrafoss waterfall and traverse the fields where foals and young horses roam.

On our way down, we pass by the Ìrafoss waterfall and follow the river Irá until we reach the ocean. A perfect combination of the glacier and black beach tour.

In the afternoon we will head towards the mountains and embark on a thrilling climb towards the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. Along the way we will encounter small waterfalls, peaceful streams and grazing sheep. The path may be narrow and steep at times, but the reward at the top will be a stunning view.

As the day comes to an end we will have the opportunity to see the sunset over the ocean before making our way back to the farm, passing by the Iráfoss waterfall.
